Lightroom Classic plugin

Publish papat galleries and import your client's picks from the Lightroom Classic menu. Download the installer and you're done in five steps.

Mac only for now. Windows is in preparation.

  1. Step 1 / 5

    Download the installer

Use the button below to download the installer (.pkg).

Save it anywhere. Your Downloads folder is fine.

  2. Step 2 / 5

    Double-click and follow the prompts

Double-click the downloaded .pkg and follow the on-screen instructions.

    No administrator password is needed.

  3. Step 3 / 5

    Restart Lightroom Classic

If Lightroom Classic is open, quit it and open it again.

papat is loaded when Lightroom starts.

  4. Step 4 / 5

    Create an API key

Log in at papat.app and create an API key under "Lightroom plugin" in the dashboard. Copy it.

The key is shown only once, when you create it. Don't show it to anyone — and don't give it to an AI.

  5. Step 5 / 5

Paste it and check the connection

In Lightroom Classic, open File › Plug-in Manager and select papat. Paste the key into the API key field and click "Check connection".

If it fails to connect, check for stray spaces before or after the key.

You're all set

Select photos in Lightroom and publish from Library → Plug-in Extras → Create a papat gallery…

Other ways to get it

Install manually from a ZIP

If you prefer to install it yourself, download the ZIP and add it from the Plug-in Manager.

Download the ZIP

Version 1.0.2 ・ SHA-256174d207637493274bc540335389ed0e278ad63b5823a554905c73817c38088f2

Manual installation steps
  1. Double-click the ZIP. A folder named papat.lrplugin appears. Lightroom can't load a ZIP file.
  2. Where to put it: keep papat.lrplugin somewhere you won't delete it. We recommend "Documents › Lightroom Plug-ins" (create the folder if it doesn't exist). If you leave it in Downloads and delete it later, the plugin stops working.
  3. In Lightroom Classic, open File › Plug-in Manager, click Add at the bottom left, and choose the papat.lrplugin folder.

On the papat screen in Plug-in Manager, click "Copy to the standard location…" to copy it to Lightroom's standard location. Handy if you don't want to think about where to put it.

Then continue with steps 4 and 5 (create an API key and check the connection).

Want an AI to install it?

If you use Claude Code or Codex, an AI can do it for you — no need to think about where to put it.
